Edalbert Crimble (born 29 June, 1924) was a half-blood wizard who worked at the Ministry of Magic as an investigative member of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
He was present on 24 December, 1991 at No. 12 Grimmauld Place, London, following the suicide of Orion Black. He was soon thrown out by Walburga following the end of his very brief investigation, and made a comment in the Daily Prophet about Walburga's hysteria.

Edalbert Crimble was born on 29 June, 1924, in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. Halifax is a minster town in the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale in West Yorkshire, England. Historically in the West Riding of Yorkshire, the town has been a centre of woollen manufacture from the 15th century onward, originally dealing through the Piece Hall.
Hogwarts years[]
He received his Hogwarts letter in the summer of 1935. That same summer, he visited Diagon Alley, located in London, and purchased a wand made of an unknown length, core, and wood from Ollivander's Wand Shop. On 1 September, 1935, he boarded the train for Hogwarts and was sorted into Hufflepuff House that same night.
